My objective as an artist, is not just to conceptualize ideas for and within a given community or purpose, but to inspire hope and artistic innovation with a visual language that is accessible and inclusive to all of humanity. I believe that the magic of art and life are integrated into a single holistic pursuit of creative exploration and discovery that encompasses both practice and creative discourse.
I aspire to be an artist who employs a more critical stance towards visual information – asking questions of how and for whom these images and objects function for, while seeking purpose and intent. I consider myself a successful artist when I am an active participant in visual culture today, and when I am excited about my role and responsibility as a creator of images, objects, and experiences.
Ultimatley, my goal is focused on enhancing the language of my work by inviting the viewer to move into a space of speculation while remaining grounded in aesthetics for interpretative thinking aiming at new imaginative methods of artistic practice.
